Discipleship
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:18-20
Conditions to be a Disciple of Jesus
I- Abandon of Sin
Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’
Matthew 7:21-23
A disciple of the Lord Jesus will not voluntarily and willingly live in sin; at any cost, he will not yield to sin, not because of his own strength but because of the power of the Spirit of God living in him. He has victory over sin and can say no to sin.
The disciple desire to be holy like his master Jesus, he desire to please his Mater.
The disciple will confess, abandon and carry out restitution if necessary for all sin he has ever committed in his life.
The disciple will not keep stolen things; falsify documents with him until the restitution is done.
The disciple will reject all sexual sins, adultery, fornication, homosexuality and pornography.
The Disciple will reject all falsehood, false birth certificate, false passport, false identification card, false diploma, false marriage certificate, false immigration documents, false social security card, false resume, false job placement, false transcripts; anything false must be rejected.
The disciple will reject all lies about himself about people, the disciple will always seek what is right and just before the Lord , will always seek the will of the Lord.
